Oregon Concealed Handgun License
$50 for Oregon. $80 for Oregon and Arizona together.
Covers Oregon’s rules for carrying, use of force, and safe handling. You can add Arizona as a second state.
What to bring: This class is classroom only, with no live fire.
Basic Semi-Auto Handgun

Our first class for new shooters, and a good refresher, finishing with live fire.
What to bring: Nothing extra. A Tritac 9mm rental and one box of ammunition are included.
Handgun Skills and Tactics

For shooters who can already load, unload, and shoot on their own.
What to bring: Your own firearm, holster, three magazines, and 200 rounds. Ammunition is not included.
Getting Started with the AR-15

Learn how the rifle works and how to handle it safely, then finish with live fire.

Concealed Handgun Shooting Scenarios and Tactics

Live-fire scenarios for shooters who already have a concealed handgun license or are comfortable on the line.

Close Quarter Rifle Fundamentals

Ready positions, movement, and rifle work at close range.

Performance Carbine

Faster rifle work, for after the fundamentals class.

Private classes

Instructor
James Major is a firearms instructor at Tritac Shooting Solutions. He teaches private lessons and group classes for civilians, military, and law enforcement, covering safety, fundamentals, skill development, use of force, and concealed handgun licensing. He served as a U.S. Marine infantryman from 2004 to 2009, including combat operations in Anbar Province, Iraq. From 2011 to 2015 he worked as a protective security specialist in Baghdad. He was Director of Training at Tritac from 2017 to 2024 and returned to the instructor role in 2026. He still trains, competes, and updates what he teaches.
